Dark Star (Pre-Alpha)

Dark Star is an upcoming strategy title that offers unparalleled tactical control. Command your fleet of spacecraft as you move and maneuver in 3D space. Plan out your orders with unlimited tactical pause, then watch as they're executed in real-time.

Gameplay

In the tactical pause, give orders to your fleet. Draw your flight paths, set targets, and (coming soon) activate powerful abilities. Move and maneuver on all axes to keep your enemies within your sights, and your vulnerable sides protected.

Then watch the glorious battle unfold...

Controls

Camera:

• WASD - move
• QE - ascend/descend
• Shift - move faster
• Rmb + drag - rotate
• Mmb - pan

Battle:

• Z - icon view
• X - tactical view
• C - path view
• Lmb - select ship/squadron
• F - focus on selection
• WASDQE - break focus

Ships movement:

• Lmb + drag - destination move
• Ctrl + drag - secondary destination move
  • Drag left/right - roll destination
  • Drag up/down - move destination up/down to the plane

Commands:

To give a command, select it and then a valid target.

• Focus Fire - turrets will prioritise the enemy target
• Attack - squadron will attack the enemy
• Defend - squadron will defend the ally
